FlyDubai’s Boeing 737-800 Air Jet Crashed in Russia, Kills 62, including 2 Indians

Moscow: FlyDubai’s Boeing 737-800 air jet crashed in Southern Russian City, Rostov-on Don on Saturday while trying to land in an unfavorable climatic condition in the area at the time of landing, kills all the 62 passengers in the jet including 2 Indians physiotherapist couple. The flight came from Dubai and before attempting landing in the airport it had circling the area for up to 2-3 hours due to bad winds and the final attempt to land the ground burst the plane into flames, about 250 metres short of runway, hitting its wings initially.

Ministry of Indian External Affairs spokesman Vikas Swarup said that the 2 Indians are from Kerala named Anju Kathirvel Aiyappan and Mohan Shyam. According to the report form Flydubai, 33 women, 18 men, 4 children and 7 crew members dead in this incident.
