Forceful Installing of Windows 10 in PCs: Microsoft insisting that is not so, but users seem unhappy

World’s major computer systems related entity: Microsoft Corporation appeared disagreeing the reports which are showing that it has been forcefully installing Windows 10 on user’s systems. Moreover, it has insisted that users are ‘fully in control’.

However, it was seen from over the months that many incidents of installing Windows 10 on the computers of users without their consent, by the Microsoft, have been reported. And in the latest ones, the instance which the Kotaku writer has reported noting that the Microsoft seemingly downloaded and installed Windows 10 on his Personal Computer overnight.

Moreover, on this topic, the Microsoft’s spokesperson issued a quote to HotHarware where it was stated that they have shared in late October, on the Windows Blog, they are committed to making it easy for their customers of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10.

Also the spokesperson further, added that the company has updated the upgrade experience for making it easier for the customer to schedule a time for their upgrade to take place, as stated in their post. Also, he said that the customers to be fully in control of their devices, and as such they can choose to not install the Windows 10 upgrade or remove the upgrade from Windows Update by changing the Windows Update settings.

Considering or even believing the comments from the users of Microsoft, the company is downplaying the situation here. And notably there are about 3000 incensed people who have commented on a Reddit tread with the vast majority of them acknowledging facing a similar issues in their PCs and also in their laptops.

One of such user has also commented that while working the all of a sudden Windows closed all his programs and logged him out and started the upgrading, however, by quickly shutting down his computer could stop it, but he saw that his son’s computer got the same issue and he could not stop upgradation.

Thus, now it is well settled that there are number of users of Microsoft Windows who are facing the issue of automatic upgradation to the Windows 10.
