ICC T20 World Cup 2016- Pakistan Won against Bangladesh in the match at Kolkata’s historic Eden Gardens

New Delhi: In ICC World Cup  T20, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata Today, on Wednesday. Pakistan scored their highest ever-total score of 201/4 in WT20 and defeated Bangladesh in their opening match by 55 runs. Pakistan’s top order performed well in this game, their first wicket falls on 26 in 2.3 over, after that Mohammad Hafeez came to the crease and had a good partnership with Ahmed Shehzad for the 2nd wicket. Ahmed Shehzad scored 52 runs from 39 balls, Mohammad Hafeez did his batting little more technically by scoring 64 runs from 42 balls, and the captain Afridi showcased a marvelous play by scoring 49 runs out of just 19 balls, all together Pakistan batting was good. There was several big players in both teams and thus, the battle was much entertaining and really one which the audience must watch out for.

After a notable performances in the qualifying stage of the World Twenty20, the Team- Bangladesh had seen their way through to the main draw. In Bangladesh side, Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny got 2 wicket each, and Sabbir Rahman contribute 1 wicket to get all total of 5 wickets in 20 overs.

In return Bangladesh starts batting and they lost their first wicket of Soumya Sarkar in the first over itself for 1 run, and for the second wicket they scored 43 runs and lost the wicket of Sabbir Rahman in 6th over, he scores 25 runs from 19 balls, Afridi bowled him cleanly. Tamim Iqbal went to pavilion on 8th over after he scores 24 runs, Mahmudullah scored 4 from 5 balls and caught by Sharjeel khan in the over of Imad Wasim.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim raised the score, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 18 and lost his wicket on 110. Shakib Al Hasan lead the battle to avoid a great defeat by scoring 50 runs and concluded Bangladesh score to 146/6.
