India against Iran lose by 0-4 in FIFA world Cup Qualifiers

Tehran: India got embarrassing lost against Iran of 0-4 in the Football match of Group D, in FIFA World Cup qualifiers on yesterday, i.e. on 24th March, at the Azadi Stadium.

It was seen yesterday, that the Indian Football team continued with the dismal runs against Irani football team. Moreover, Haji Safi who scored twice as 33rd and 66th got on the score sheet and along with Azmoun who scored once as 61st and Alireza as 78th, as highest- ranked team in Asia blanked India.

Thus, now Iran is finished as Group D leaders, with this win against India, also with seventeen points. However, in case of India it is, now, not so, Indian being winless remained 5th with just 3 points for their name ahead of their final game which would be against Turkmenistan in Kochi on 29th day of this March.

India found struggling in the match, for keeping possession and also for defending as was seen from Aiborlang Khongjee and Sandesh Jhinghan. However, it was again pointed that Azmoun, still got his space for the box. Then Khongjee was found replaced with Pritam Kotal, soon after he suffered injury. Thus, in the first half the score remained 1-0.

But in Second Half, the Haji Safi got twin chances to take ball in the box, in spite of much struggle and efforts which the Indian team involved in the match. When Score comes 3-0 the Indian team seemed continued struggling the battle. And it was seen later that Alireza Jahan Baksh made the score 4-0 in the 78th Minute of the match in second half.

However, it was seen that Indian shot stopper, defender, and other players found involving their all efforts in the match to stop their opponents from making a goal, however, they could not succeeded in their aim and finally, they loose the battle with the embarrassing score sheet.

Thus, these three Iranies players- Alireza Jahan Baksh, Haji Safi and Azmoun, took four points for their team to qualify in the FIFA World Cup.
