Kollam, Kerala: After a big mishap where about 100 and above were killed and hundreds of the people were injured, at the Kollam- based Puttingal Devi Temple, there is a ‘Black Sunday’ for the Kerala people. Moreover, in the development of the investigation, as to who was behind the said firework, during the festival at the temple, the Police sources found stated that the Top officials from the temple were missing, when the said firework termed as illegal.

The said illegal firework programme was set up during the festival which attracted number of the devotees who went watching the firework show, suddenly a storeroom where crackers were stored blasted and this resulted in the deaths of the number of the men, women and police officials too.

While so, the sources from the Police found stated that they have registered a case of culpable homicide against the senior temple officials, however, soon they got informations of their so charged they appeared missing, even their cell phones were tried but to no response.

Moreover, as per the sources another case is also registered against the Surendran and Umesh who being Father and Son had organised such fireworks show without even being permitted. However, both of them are being treated at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

It was seen that the said firework show was annually being held during the Malayalam month of Meenam, which generally falls in this month. Such firework show generally held in the temple which is located in the coastal town of Paravur, which is about 60 KM away from the Thiruvananthapuram.

Moreover, reportedly, the Prime Minister of India- Narendra Modi reached Kollam, Kerala and visited the spot. He also found directed the Union Health Minister- J P Nadda to “immediately reach the spot” and he too arrived there. Earlier, PM- Modi also reportedly announced some compensations to the people who dead and injured in the incident.

Also, the Minister of the State for Minority Affairs- Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also offered chadar at the Dargah of Sufi Saint- Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer, Rajasthan on behalf of the PM- Modi and prays in connection with the said incident.
