New Delhi: In the development of the case of the mysterious death of the Balika Vadhu actress- Pratyusha Banerjee, the parents after expressing unhappiness over probes conducted by the Mumbai Police into the their daughter’s case, they have now written a letter to Rajnath Singh- the Union Home Minister and claimed an investigation by premier central agency into their daughter’s case.
The instances as to such letter were disclosed by the sources from the police who stated, yesterday, on 9th May, Monday.
The Police sources further disclosed that the said letter is containing the matter in two pages and it is entirely written in Hindi language, containing the most important request before the Union Home Minister- Rajnath Singh to hand over the investigation into the suicidal death of the Pratyusha Banerjee to the “most premier investigating agency.” Moreover, in the contents of the letter, as per sources, the parents of the deceased Balika Vadhu actress also stated that the investigation which is being carried out by the Police officials looking to them “suspicious.”
It was seen in the case from the reports published earlier that the said television actress- Pratyusha Banerjee being only twenty- four- year- old allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residential flat room on First day of April, however, as per the allegations which the father and mother of the said actress levelled, their daughter had not committed suicide, but she was murdered.
Earlier the police took under its suspicion a boyfriend of Pratyusha Banerjee, namely, Rahul Raj Singh, who is a Television Producer and he was booked by the Police officials for the abetment of suicide and criminal intimidation, among other charges.
It is also notable in this context that even though the police is having adequate material in the form of Call record, statements of the witnesses and spot inspection report, to establish a strong murder case against the boyfriend of Pratyusha Banerjee, but still they had not booked him for such offence, as per the parents of the deceased actress.
Moreover, the said letter which was addressed to the Union Home Minister also contains that the parents of the deceased were unaware to the fact that the Police has filed a suicide case in this connection, and they claimed that they don’t understand the Marathi language, in which the FIR in the case was written.
