Protests on Kashmir Girls alleged molestation: Her Mother says ‘She Saw a Jawan and Screamed’

Kupwara; Kashmir: The main fact behind the entire agitation in Kashmir’s Handwara area, is restricted to the issue of a school girl whose alleged molestation by the Security personnel had burnt Handwara into protests and due to this number people dying and sustaining serious injuries. Now the mother of the said school girl sought to claim that the father of such girl is being illegally detained by the Police, and she also sought to maintain that the statement which the girl has given to the Police, and in which she pointed misbehavior by the Local boys, was under pressure.

Moreover, while narrating the circumstance of the event, the said mother of the school girl said that her daughter after her school time, came out with other girls and “went to the washroom in the market”. She said, When she (her daughter) “went in an army jawan emerged… She screamed”. She also added that “the boys who were there could not tolerate the screams of their sister. A crowd assembled. The Police and Army opened fire”.

However, as per video release which was made by the open by the Army Personnel, the concerned school girl stated to the police about the incident, and these statements notably, were not covering anything mentioned about molestation, however, she claimed misbehavior was done by the local boy.

But, the mother of school girl said that “she is under pressure from the Police”, it is also notable that a school girl is only 16 years of her age, as per her mother. Mother also claimed that her daughter was took in the custody “for 5 days. And “we are not allowed to meet her”.

Moreover, as per the Police officials, the said girl and his father are being taken into the preventive custody.

However, notably, while all such controversies are going on, the another important issue which has also attained importance as due to such protests, there have been killed 5 persons across the Kashmir since from the incident which was occurred on 12th day of this month. And also the effects of such protests can also be seen in the other areas in Kashmir too, in which Baramulla town, Ganderbal, Kupwara, are also including.
