Pope Francis approves: Mother Teresa to be made saint on September 4

Vatican City, Holy See: Tuesday, Pope Francis, made an announcement about Mother Teresa’s sainthood at a meeting of Cardinals and decided September 4 as the date for her canonization. This decision came 19 years after she died in 1997. Late Pope John Paul beatified her when a first miracle occurred by curing a stomach tumor of a woman which was approved by Vatican in 2003.
