Kolkata: Yesterday, i.e. on Friday 25th March, a Young girl- Volleyball player- Sangita Aich was killed in Barasat near Kolkata and in the mystery of her killing, a young man is alleged to have attacked her with a cleaver, as she was playing game with Thirty other girl players.
Just over Fourteen years old- Volleyball player was notably found hacked to death and the assailant- Subrata Singha or Raja who is also from the younger age group (about 18 or 19) allegedly hacked her to death.
The girl Volleyball player was having practicing experience for the National Level tournaments. And it was shown in the reports that while she was on her way to a coaching camp, she was stabbed to death, allegedly by Subrata. Her pet name was Tina and she was just a class 9th Student at the local school.
In the reports, the assailant had met her, apparently on the volleyball ground and later he proposed her. In the negative response, may be, the Volleyball player was stabbed.
When assailant attempted against player with chopper, she sought to hide behind Swapan Das- the Coach, who was sitting on the chair, and Swapan also tried to beat the assailant back for save her life, but player later ran for saving her towards her house, barely 100 meters away, and on the way she was stabbed several times. It was also seen that by the time the girl is taken to hospital, she was dead.
Teena’s Uncle- Gopal Aich, told that he is having a food stall near the volleyball ground, and he was informed by some people about the attacking against her niece, and till he reached her, he found her bleeding and writhing in pain.
The assailant is still not in custody of police. They are searching him with his photo which was taken from his Facebook account. It is said to be a resident of Barrackpore, which is around Fifteen kilometres far from the spot of incident.
Moreover, the family members of the victim also found alleging that assailant had earlier also threatened her, against which the family had also went to police but to no effect. Her father appeared in great shock and could not speak.
