After NIT Row, now Another J&K University Row comes in picture

Rajouri; Jammu: After the fateful clashes in the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, the State of Jammu and Kashmir again faces fresh clashes reportedly at another university in the state, where two groups of the Students appeared clashing at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University.

The Jammu region’s Rajouri- based University as per the eyewitnesses, as reported by the news agency is facing the dangerous situations. The said eyewitnesses have seen the vehicles burning down in the clashes where Kashmiri and local students were clashing and pelting stones at each other.

Moreover, it is also learnt that a special team of the Police officials including the SSP also rushed the spot as they got informed of such violence.

It was seen that the earlier clashes were experienced among the non- local and local students from the National Institute of Technology in Srinagar, and they were fighting on the issue of India’s losing of Twenty- 20 World Cup. It was seen, that incident had led to the shutting down of the NIT campus indefinitely.

It was also seen in the previous incident, the officials also closed down the hostels and the students were also asked to vacate the vicinity. The issue was also seemed taking cognizance of by the Human Resource Development Ministry.

And while the clashes were seemed even going out of control by the police personnel, the Boarder Security Force’s personnel were also deployed in the vicinity.

It was also seen in the State of Jammu and Kashmir that the situation in the Kashmir valley has already been remained critical since from the 12th day of April, when the four people were killed in the Handwara also. It was also seen that the Army in that case had also opened firing on a mob which was protesting the alleged molestation of a young girl by an Army man.

There was curfew declared in this connection, however, today the said curfew lifted. It was also seen that earlier there was blocked in the mobile internet service and considering the recovery in the situation, the said block was also removed.
