After World Yoga Day, Ayush Ministry set to spread the significance of Ayurveda and Ayush globally

Panaji: Significant development in the sector of all Indian health- related methods, the AYUSH ministry, meaning thereby a ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy is all set to sign a pact with the WHO- World Health Organisation for spreading the significance of Ayurveda and Ayush. Moreover, in terms of such pact, the Indian ministry will be working with the global organisation for celebrating a World Ayurveda Day.

This being the second development in this sector, after the United Nationals General Assembly’s adoption of the World Yoga Day, when the current Prime Minister- Narendra Modi’s government convinced the UNO about the importance of Yoga.

Moreover, while reporting the instances of the said development, the Union Minister of State for Ayush- Shripad Naik found stated that, “the information related to Ayurveda and Ayush should spread out to the whole country as well as the World.” As such the Union Minister said that “the Ayush Ministry will sign an agreement with the WHO in the days to come”. Moreover, he also added that for the second World Yoga Day, the preparations are already begun.

It is notable that this year the Second World Yoga Day will be celebrated across the globe and the preparations from the side of the Ministry of Ayush in this connection has already begun over two months ago, as it is being confirmed by the Ayush Ministry.

While praising the Yoga methods and its importance, the Indian Prime minister- Narendra Modi in the month of September 2014 while addressing the United Nations found suggested that the World Celebrate World Yoga Day on 21st day of June, as it is the Longest Day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares special significance in many parts of the World.

Now, the present preparation for the signing the International pact is disclosed by the Union Minister- Naik who was speaking at the Sandu Ayurveda Gaurav and Sandu Ayurveda Bhushan award ceremony in Mumbai, India. moreover, he also found stated that the country should be freed from all the diseases and also he praised Ayurveda saying that its promotion was the first step towards a disease- free India.
