By 2019 Kashmir Issue will be solved says Subramanian Swamy; while talking about major economic reforms

New Delhi: The Kashmir issue, which is considered to be the most biggest and longest- running issue in the country, now as per the Bhartiya Janata Party’s senior leader- Subramanian Swamy, who claimed it will be solved by the year 2019, even as he pitched for undertaking major economic reforms once the NDA government “puts house in order” to become leading economy of the World.

Moreover, he found telling that the “Sardar Patel, the man who welded 600 kingdoms into one India… Sardar Patel sat with each of them… and saw not 600, but 500 of those merge with India. He also added that “Only one (kingdom) he could not carry through, he although got the king to sign, but Mr Jawaharlal Nehru took over, it was Kashmir. And that headache is still there. But am positive given the grit of Mr Narendra Modi, by 2019, we will have solved the Kashmir problem,” Swamy said.

The former Union Minister- Swamy was speaking over the event on “India in Global Economy” which was organised in Delhi by the Delhi Study Group. While so, in his further remarks, he also sought to add that the India is currently in a state where “it will lag behind if it doesn’t act upon its potential” also he pointed that the time has reached to think about major economic reforms. He added that the country is having both “skilled and cheap” labour, however, as per him “nobody” wants to come to India due to it has got “lousy” infrastructure.
