New York: India’s well known politician- Aam Aadmi Party’s Leader and Chief Minister of Delhi- Arving Kejriwal has featured ‘World’s Greatest Leaders’ List’ of Fortune. And even he is topped by Jeff Bezos- the CEO of Amazon.
The Fortune which is an Multinational business magazine, published by Time Inc., has published its list of Fifty greatest leaders from around the entire World and it has ranked Arvind Kejriwal at 42 in the list.
As per the New York City- based Fortune Magazine, for tackling the “smog” in the New Delhi (India), the Delhi’s CM- Kejriwal has revealed a “blueprint”. New Delhi is termed by the Fortune Magazine as also called by the World Health Organization- WHO as “world’s most polluted city”. Moreover it says that AAP party’s leader- Kejriwal launched a “pilot ‘odd- even’ project in which vehicles were allowed on the road only on alternate days”.
Fortune Magazine published its third annual print of ‘World’s 50 Greatest Leaders’ and it is showing a list featuring world’s men and women from the variety of fields like Business, Philanthropy, Government and the arts who as per Fortune “transforming the world and inspiring others to do the same”.
It is further notable that the Forty- Seven years- old Indian politician is the only from India who is taken by Fortune and ranked him at 42nd in the list of ‘World’s 50 Greatest Leaders’.
In the list, besides, Arvind Kejriwal, one Indian- American Governor from South Carolina- Nikki Haley is also found ranked at 17th position and also another Indian- American- Resham Saujani is also ranked at 20th position in the list published by Fortune Magazine.
The current Chief Minister- Arvind Kejriwal being an Indian Politician had occupied the chair of Chief Minister in Delhi since February, last year. Earlier he had served as Chief Minister of Delhi, from 2013’s December to 2014’s February, stepping down after 49 days.
Besides, Kejriwal is the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, which has won the Delhi Assembly elections in the year 2015 with a majority. By education he is mechanical engineer graduate and he had also worked for Indian Revenue Service as a joint commissioner in the Income Tax Department.
