Delhi Court orders framing of the charges of cheating, criminal conspiracy, etc. against Jindal in Coal Block case

New Delhi: Now as per the directions of the Delhi- based Court, the charges in the coal block case will be framed against the Jindal Group. The said court made this order today, on Friday, 29th April.

It was seen today, that the Special Judge, namely Bharat Parashar who is presiding the said Delhi- based court ordered that the charged dealing with the criminal conspiracy, cheating and also several provisions of the Prevention of Corruptions Act should be framed booking the former member of the parliament- Naveen Jindal, who is also the industrialist and also a senior congress leader. Not only this, the said Special Judge also ordered such framing of the charges against the former union minister of the State for Coal, namely, Dasari Narayan Rao and also against the former Chief Minister for Jharkhand state, namely, Madhu Koda and others.

It was seen that the said Delhi- based special court was hearing a case in which the allocation of the Amarkonda Murgadangal Coal block in the Jharkhand, to the Jindal Steel and Gagan Sponge. While such hearing, the representative for the probing agency found stated that there was sufficient evidence against the said personalities, and as such charges can be framed against these people in a case relating to the Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block allocation to the Jindal Steel and Gagan Sponge.

However, the said personalities including Naveen Jindal, Dasari Narayan Rao and Madhu Koda found not pleading guilty, hence they sought to deny all such allegations and also claimed their discharge from the case.

The said probing agency in the case, CBI- Central Bureau of Investigation in the last year’s April month found filing the chargesheet against the said personalities- accused persons along with the former coal secretary H. C. Gupta with other six people, including Suresh Singhal- director to New Delhi Exim, Rajeev Jain- director to Jindal Realty, Girish Kumar Juneja and R. K. Saraf- directors to Gagan Sponge, K. Ramakrishna- managing director to Sowbhagya Media and Gyan Swaroop Garg- a chartered accountant.
