New Delhi: From the well- known and most popular multi- speciality hospital in south east Delhi- Apollo Hospital, two employees along with other three persons were arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with their allegedly running a kidney racket bringing donors from different parts of the country to the national capital. The cops have identified the said arrested persons as Aditya Singh and Shailesh Saxena, who were working in the said Hospital as personal secretaries to the doctors for 3 to 4 years. The said arrest with all information is confirmed by the DCP (south east), Mandeep Singh Randhawa.
He made clear the situation and said that, earlier cops received information that there were some members of the gang would be coming to the Apollo Hospital on 2nd day of June, for holding a meeting with a donor and relatives of the recipient. And as such, the cops decided to conduct a raid and in such raid, they also arrested three others namely, Aseem Sikdar, Satya Prakash and Devashish Moulik.
Here, it was also confirmed that the said strategy was involving to lure the financially poor people, and they were taken to the national capital for donating their kidney for the consideration of Rs. 3 to 4 lakh.
