Must read

BLS E-Services has entered the mutual fund sector by partnering with Asit C Mehta Investment Interrmediates (ACMIIL), a Pantomath Group company. The collaboration aims to provide mutual fund access to individuals across India, including Tier 2, 3, and 4 towns and rural areas.

Under the partnership, BLS E-Services will leverage its network of over 147,000 touchpoints nationwide to distribute mutual fund products. The initiative will operate through a ‘phygital’ model, combining physical outlets and digital platforms to deliver services efficiently to a broader audience.

BLS E-Services is a subsidiary of BLS International Services, offering services such as Business Correspondent (BC) and rural banking outlets, assisted e-services, and e-governance solutions.

The company focuses on expanding access to essential services in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas, particularly where internet penetration is low.

ACMIIL, founded in 1983, is a diversified financial services company offering mutual fund distribution, equity and derivatives trading, debt market solutions, forex and commodities advisory, and portfolio management services.

The company serves over 2 lakh clients through more than 350 franchisees and a digital platform that includes Investmentz.com and the BAT app.

The Indian mutual fund industry has seen continued growth, with assets under management (AUM) reaching ₹75.61 lakh crore in September 2025, reflecting a 12.7% year-on-year increase. While metro cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru remain the largest contributors, emerging cities including Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Bhopal are seeing growing participation.

The partnership aims to combine ACMIIL’s financial expertise with BLS E-Services’ extensive last-mile distribution network, facilitating mutual fund access for first-time investors and expanding financial inclusion in underserved areas.
