Shimla: Yesterday on Saturday, 23rd April, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh- Virbhadra Singh said that the State Government of Himachal Pradesh is in the process of enacting a law to prevent cheating of the tourists by unscrupulous elements.
Moreover, the Chief Minister- Virbhadra Singh also made it clear that the tourism, as an activity, requires contribution from all stakeholders concerned. He claimed to have realised that the said State Government is having an important role in providing a conducive environment for it. He added “we are up for the task at hand.”
The statements as shown hereinabove came from the CM- Singh while he was speaking at the inauguration of Himachal Travel Mart in Shimla.
Moreover, he also said while speaking on the sidelines after opening of the Mart, that the State Government is not in mood to change the name of the Shimla and also other places in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
He added saying that the Shimla is a well- known tourist destination in the world, and also he said Shimla is also known by its present name globally. In Himachal Pradesh, travel mart pavilion at the Ridge exhibits tourism-related activities. Moreover, as per the Chief Minister, the marts like this go a long promoting tourism activism and also will offer much- needed fillip to the industries in Trourism.
Also, as per the CM- Singh, the government in the state has also started several measures for pushing the tourism industry further and for it is inviting investments from the Private- sector in the areas of ropeways, resorts, amusement parks film cities, mega tourist destinations, civil aviation sector, adventure activities in which the Paragliding, heli- skiing and also water sports.
Moreover, it is also notable that in such mart, the international buyers, like United States, Germany, UK, France, South Africa, Bulgaria, Australia, Ukarine and Russia also participating. Also some domestic delegates from over fifteen major Indian market like Mumbai, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Bangalore, West Bengal also participating in the said mart.
