In the West Indies Vs South Africa, the former beat later and now has assured its place in the Semi- finals of the ICC World T- 20 series. The match was witnessed by many in the Nagpur- VCA Stadium where, South Africa has lost its chance making opportunity against West Indies, by three wickets. While the West Indies won the match leaving two balls in spare.
Moreover, for South Africa it is a major disappointment, as even in 2015’s Cricket World Cup, they found left with no fine results, even though they were having best of players and best of preparations along with great momentum going into the tournament.
In the Friday’s match, the South Africa had entered the stage in connection with the current T- 20 World Cup matches, however, they found loosen the match against West Indies by Three Wickets, not only this, they also loosen the chance to qualify for the semi- final of T- 20 World Cup, 2016.
In the match, South Africa seemed shocked everyone witnessing it, by excluding an ace bowler from their team.
It was seen in the field that the battle was started with batting by the South Africa and they scored small total of 122 runs for eight. West Indies won toss and its captain- Darren Sammy took correct decision of bowling first, and after South Africa’s batting, they got their small target to beat it. When West Indies started batting, Johnson Charles opened for team and for the South Africa the bowling was started by Kagiso Rabada. Even though the West Indies had lost its first wicket in the first over, they remained supported by other batsmen in the team and top score makers in the team were happened to be the Johnson Charles and Marlon Samuels, who made 32 and 44 respectively. However, in the last show time, the much awaited Six which has change the situation in the match, was shown by Charlos Brathwaite.
The top scorer’s tag in the match, remained with the Marlon Samuels who made 44 runs for West Indies.
