London: Liquor Baron- Vijay Mallya who is involved in the biggest tragedy of Loan Fraud Case had specifically stated, shortly after the Enforcement Directorate- ED has provisionally attached his movable and immovable assets of about Rs. 1411 crores, that he was deeply pained to learnt that the Government agencies were planning further unprecedented action against him.
It is notable that the ED has attached provisionally, the said properties which are belonging to the businessman- Mallya and United Breweries (Holding) Limited in relation to the money laundering case. Moreover, in the development of the case against Vijay Mallya, the Central’s probing agency- Central Bureau of Investigation- CBI has also constituted a Special Investigation Team which would further conduct probe into the Kingfisher Airlines and its head Mallya.
The comments from Mallya came with the help of mail, where he added that “the assets purportedly attached under Prevention of Money Laundering Act date back several years prior to the launch of Kingfisher Airlines.” Moreover, he also said that “there is no rationale or any legal basis for the series of actions initiated by the ED, which is now making it more difficult to raise resources to pay the banks.”
