New Delhi: India’s one of the largest automobile manufacturer- Maruti Suzuki has announced the recall of its about Seventy- Five Thousands and plus units of recently launched- Baleno and also its bout Two Thousands of compact sedan- DZire for fixing faulty airbag component and fuel filter. The Company has recently released its statements and as per such statements, “Maruti Suzuki will proactively and voluntarily recall 75,419 Baleno cars, both petrol and diesel, manufactured between August 3, 2015 and May 17, 2016 to upgrade the airbag controller software.”
It is notable here, that the company’s this recall is probably effecting almost all the units of the recently launched- Baleno. The Baleno is sold by the company from the October of last year and the car is featuring its airbags as standard. Moreover, in connection with the other 1,961 DZire cars, the company has announced the recall of diesel cars with AGS transmission for inspecting and replacing the defective fuel filters.
From the coming 31st day of this month, the dealers of the Maruti Suzuki will be starting contact with the owners of the said affected cars, as per the company statements. And such defects from the car will be removed by the company, without any cost to be recovered from its owners, thus free of cost.
