PM Narendra Modi called upon people to “collectively work” to conserve forests

New Delhi: Honorable Prime Minister Narendara Modi, on the world Forest Day, Monday, march 21st, said the people of India to conserve forests and thereby increase water resources and it can help farmers and future generations.

Mr. PM said in the twitter “On International day of forests, let us pledge to collectively work to conserve forests & increase green cover.”

On another tweet, he said that “This year’s theme ‘Forests & Water’ is very relevant. More forests mean more water resources, which benefits farmers &  future generations.,”
