Pope Francis approves: Mother Teresa to be made saint on September 4

Vatican City, Holy See: Tuesday, Pope Francis, made an announcement about Mother Teresa’s sainthood at a meeting of Cardinals and decided September 4 as the date for her canonization. This decision came 19 years after she died in 1997. Late Pope John Paul beatified her when a first miracle occurred by curing a stomach tumor of a woman which was approved by Vatican in 2003. The second miracle was a man got healed his brain disease and this attributed to her canonization. The canonization ceremony is expecting in Rome and after that a thanksgiving ceremony will hed at kolkata later where she buried.

Mother Teresa is also know as blessed Teresa of Calcutta was born in Skopje on 26 August 1910, moved to Ireland and finally came India, lived her most life here and served Indians through her admired charitable works. She was awarded Nobel Price in 1979 for humanitarian work.
