New Delhi: After a mysterious death of Balika Vadhu actress- Pratyusha Banerjee, who allegedly committed suicide, now feeling unhappy with the developments in the case, the parents of the actress moved to the honourable Supreme Court of India, yesterday, on 19th May, and sought cancellation of the anticipatory bail which was granted to a boyfriend of Pratyusha- Rahul Raj Singh.
The investigating officials found Pratyusha’s boyfriend involving in the abetment to the suicide of Pratyusha and he had been made accused thereof. It was seen earlier on 25th day of last month (April) that the Bombay High Court had granted anticipatory bail to Rahul Raj Singh.
It is notable that the said Pratyusha Banerjee was found dead while hanging inside her flat, on first day of April, this year. In connection with the alleged suicidal death of Pratyusha, firstly, after two days, her boyfriend- Singh was booked under section 306, 504, 506, 323 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, as per complaint filed by her parents.
Now, the challenge against the grant of Anticipatory bail to Boyfriend, was brought to the bench of Justice- A. M Sapre and Justice- Ashok Bhushan and the parents of the deceased daughter said that she did not commit suicide, but she was killed by her boyfriend.
