New Delhi: Over the Same- sex relationship, the Sangh Parivar’s conservative view is overturns, when RSS has come out in support of decriminalising homosexual relationship, and this significant statement was further cleared by saying that the sexual preference is “not a crime” as long as it does not interrupt the lives of others.
RSS’s Joint general Secretary- Dattatreya Hosabale found stated yesterday, on 147th day of March, while speaking in media, that why RSS should have an opinion on Homosexuality? Further he said that the homosexuality is “not a crime” till it does not affect the lives of others. Moreover, he said that the “sexual preferences” are “personal issues”.
Moreover, RSS on Thursday was also found stated that it is sending “signals” to the BJP- led Government at the centre, however, suggestion of being ‘remote control’ was denied by it. Further, as per RSS, like any other organisation in a democracy, it is having right to suggest the Government.
Further, the Joint General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale also said that the RSS swayamsevaks are working actively and are participants in BJP. Also, BJP subscribes to certain views and ideology of RSS.
Also, the RSS further commented on several other burning issues in the country, including that of JNU row, on beef ban, etc.
Further, on the issue of Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 i.e. relating to the Homosexuality and making it crime, the Join general secretary found stated that “RSS has no view on that” and “it is for the people to have their way”.
It is notable that the concerned section 377 terms the homosexuality as unnatural and thus punishes it as offence with the imprisonment up to 10 years.
Also, RSS scholar found commented on Asaduddin Owaisi- AIMIM leader. He termed Owaisi as “anti- national” as he said he would not chant “Bharat mata ki jai”.
On beef eating issue, also RSS leader said that the sensibilities of others too be respected by one. He also said that even Mahatma Gandhi was also against “beef eating”, he did not become communal.
Dattatreya Hosabale tweeted today that “Homosexuality is not a crime, but socially immoral act in our society. No need to punish, but to be treated as a psychological case.”
