Singapore’s Changi Airport secures title of ‘World’s best Airport’ this year in 2016: SkyTrax announces

Germany: Singapore’s Changi Airport has settled its World’s Best Airport title for the fourth year in the row, at the annual SkyTrax World Airport Awards, which was announced in Germany’s Cologne yesterday, on 16th March.

It is much clear that the SkyTrax world Airport Awards are based on Millions of votes which are collected in passenger surveys.

For the passengers who are passing through the island city- state, the airport is providing innovations and these passengers seem cleared pleased to see such facilities including the 24- hours running movie theatres screening the latest blockbusters for free, a rooftop swimming pool and a butterfly garden.

Moreover, as per Airport CEO- Lee Seow Hiang, whose statements released by SkyTrax, said that it is really significant achievement for Changi Airport to be named as ‘World’s Best Airport’ by SkyTrax for the fourth year. Moreover, he further clearly affirmed to the effect that “we continue to hit the right notes in our pursuit of service excellence”.

Moreover, praising the efforts of the Airport community, he further said that, behind the success of the Changi Airport, there is an extraordinary effort and commitment of the entire airport community.

Notably, after its securing the Top success, the South Korea’s Incheon International Airport is ranked second which has held this rank of No. 2 since from 2013. Thus, the Top ten list, this year has not changed far, from previous years, though the additional of Doha’s Hamad International Airport from 22nd Place last year, marks the first Middle East airport for joining the ranks.

Moreover, Japan’s three of the airports found among the top Ten, thus, it appears that Japanese Airport authorities are getting things right. Also, the North American found failure as their airport has not come in the top ten list.

Moreover, the no. 1 airport in North America- Vancouver International Airport is also seemed fallen from 11th position to 14th position this year.

Thus, the award has again raised the status of the Changi Airport, and also other airports in the world, and this ranking would surely be supporting for the selection of the passengers to visit them.
