Bhubaneswar: Yesterday, i.e. on Monday, 21st March, the unidentified persons have set fire to the Sixty houses at Adivasi Sahi of Dadhimacchagadia. The area comes under the local limits of Sadar Police State in the district of Khurda (Odisha).
Moreover, as per police, their suspicious is raising in connection with this incident that it may a revenge where the Stone crusher unit owner- Sujit Biswal’s murder was taken place two days ago.
It is notable that the said occurrence was seen effected in the noon time, when the from the families most of the male members were not available in their homes and they were away from their homes. It was seen that the fire has reduced the homes in the ashes and thereafter the fire tenders reached the spot of occurrence. Not only this, the fire has also caught two tractors under it and it has led to heavy losses.
As per police officials, there was also seen the bombs set by the unidentified persons at the Police camps, the explosion of these bombs have also resulted injuries which at least three suffered. It was pointed by the police officials, that there were two camps which were set up in the locality, after the murder of the stone crusher unit owner was caused.
However, as per ADGP (Law and Order)- Satyajeet Mohanty, around three policemen were injured in the bombs’ explosion, by the malefactors. Moreover, he said in connection with the murder of the crusher owner, totally nine persons were arrested.
The deceased stone crusher unit owner- Sujit Biswal was stated to have been killed by some persons who are unidentified and this murder was caused 2 days ago, i.e. on Saturday night. Following this incident of murder, the police were deployed in the village, however, on Monday, yesterday, the two groups of villagers found blaming each other in connection with the murder. Thereafter it was seen that there were 300 people who came to the village and resorted to violence and set fire in Adivasi Sahi. The fire would have set on instigation of murdered person’s supporters who were accusing the people of locality for committing his murder.
