South Africa won against Sri Lanka in ICC World T-20, but none of them can qualify for Semies

New Delhi: ICC World Twenty- 20: At the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi, the two powerful teams South Africa and Sri Lanka clashed against each other and in result the team South Africa won against Sri lanka by Eight Wickets and two overs to spare and also they were have plenty of firepower still left.

It was witnessed by many that the Sri Lankan team collapsed terribly, despite a strong start. In the opening of the match, in the result of toss, the South Africa was to ball first and the Sri Lankan Batsmen- Dinesh Chandimal and Tillakaratne Dilshan entered the field and Dinesh hold the strike and after his 21 runs, in 20 balls he lost his wicket, later Thirimanne lost his wicket in first ball, as such the team could make only 120 runs in 19.3 overs, after losing all its wicket.

The target appeared not much interesting, however, still the South Africa was to make 121 runs in its batting time. The match for South Africa was started by its batsmen- Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock, however, Quinton played only 6 balls but scored 9 and his wicket was lost, but Amla continued with Faf du Plessis, who partnered with Amla to make more runs for the team. Amla remained untouched till the end of the match, though Fat du Plessis with his 31 runs lost his wicket. Later, the fourth cricketman for the team- AB de Villiers joined the battled with Amla and both of them finally took the match to its end. The South Africa finally, after losing its only two wickets, touched the target and crossed it consequently.

The entire credit as can be seen, could be taken to the untouched batsman- Hashim Amla for South Africa, who made his 50 and plus runs in the match, and also get victory for his team.

However, now it is notable that both the teams have already failed to qualify for the semi- finals in the ICC World Twenty- 20, 2016, after their disappointing performances in the group stages.
