SportsPro declared India’s star cricketer- Virat Kohli as most marketable player

New Delhi: A star batsman in the Indian Cricket team, namely, Virat Kohli has been named as 3rd Most Marketable Sportsperson in the world, and that too ahead of football’s superstar player- Lionel Messi and also world’s best tennis player- Novak Djokovic. The ranks are published after a latest survey, in the magazine, namely, ‘SportsPro.’

That so, the India’s star cricket person- Kohli is ranked after the ‘Most Valuable Player’ of NBA, namely Stephen Curry and French International of Juventus, namely, Paul Pogba. And soon after Virat Kohli, the golfer- Jordan Spieth is ranked, incidentally. The world’s best tennis player- Djokovic is at twenty- third rank, while the football’s superstar- Messi is ranked at 27th.

Moreover, another Indian star in sports field is well known woman Tennis player- Sania Mirza who is also ranked in top- 50 of the list. As such, India got two of its most talented sportspersons in the important list of SportsPro, which is engaged in the work of research on business of Sports, the criteria of ranking athletes from across the world is marketing potential over a 3- year period from this summer. Earlier the said lists of 2014 was topped by the Formula One World Champion- Lewis Hamilton.
