New York: A new technique for maintaining one’s health with all possible happiness, is recently discovered as one should at least invest his 10 minutes time period walking in his neighbourhood park, and this will elevate his oxygen levels. Moreover, if a person aiming at overall health, then he should try for living in the greenery surrounded area, which will reportedly, reduce the chronic illnesses, study says.
The chronic illnesses like Diabetes, Hypertension and lipid disorders among the elderly people in this world can be seen increasing day by day due to many reasons.
It is shown in the study’s findings that the higher levels of greenness around the homes is associated with a significantly lower risk of chronic diseases. It is in particular the said greenness level will reduce about fourteen per cents risk for diabetes, around thirteen per cents of risks reduction for hypertension and also about ten per cents of reduction in lipid disorders. Such reductions in the risks will surely allow one to live his life healthily.
As per the author of the Study- Scott Brown, who is from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine in the United States, said that the concerned study is built up on their “research group’s earlier analyses showing block- level impacts of mixed- use and supportive building features on adults and children.”
The health data from the year 2010 to 2011 was analysed by the scientists, in which they studied nearly 2.5 lakh of participants who were basically from the age group of nearly 65 and above, and also the scientists analysed a measure of vegetative presence based on NASA satellite imagery.
The Study author- Scott Brown also found stated in the study paper that after “going from a low to a high level of greenness at the block level is associated with forty- nine fewer chronic health conditions per thousand residents, which is approximately equivalent to a reduction in the biomedical ageing of the study population by three years.”
Thus, as per findings, it is clear that parks and greens are having vital important role on the human health. The paper of study is published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
