VD Rajappan- Kerala’s most famous film comedian and Kadhaprasangam Artist is ‘No More’

Kottayam: Yesterday, i.e. on 24th day of March, most of the fans of comedy and stories cried literally, as the most famous and popular Kadhaprasangam or Story telling artists and also a Film Comedian- V. D. Rajappan died.

It was told from his family members that the Kerala’s most popular Kadhaprasangam and comedian died in the private hospital. He has crossed his 70 years of life and was sick for past few years. Now, he is ‘no more’. In his family, now he left his wife and two sons.

Notably, the comedian’s last rites would be followed by today, i.e. on Friday, as was found told by his family members.

Moreover, now deceased- comedian- Rajappan being a single person was doing acting, singing and speaking and also telling stories. And he was also found playing musical instruments as well. Thus, he was a single person with a number of great qualities.

It had also taken part in the Malayalam movies too, and as a fine actor he worked for over hundred of movies. And he was mostly offered a role of great comedian and he was playing as such from 1982 to 2005.

In his given number of great works, some can be pointed here as- Meleparambil Aanveedu, Alibabayum Arara Kallanmarum, Mutharamkunnu P.O, Kusruthikkattu. Moreover, he has also noted as many as Six thousands of stage performance in him name, as a kadhaprasangam (story telling artists). And it is not only in Kerala, but he performed outside the State and even abroad.

Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan- the Minister in Kerala for Cinema- found stated that now deceased- Rajappan was a “hugely popular artiste” and he had taken the art form to “newer heights”.

Moreover, Radhakrishnan further said that “He (Rajappan) will be solely missed”, however, he praised his work and said that his ‘stories’ will always be remembering for many years to come.

Thus, it can be said here essential notable that ‘a person can went to die, but his work and shadow in it will always be living in the hearts of his lovers and fans’.
